Emergency Facilities Integrate with Aspect Link
In critical environments, emergency response speed and situational awareness determine safety outcomes. Isle Systems delivers an end-to-end safety ecosystem centred around Aspect Link, a fully automated monitoring platform, and a suite of hardware, smartphone applications, and monitoring tools.
Multi-Device SOS Emergency Alerting Facilities
Isle Systems provides emergency alerting across dedicated hardware, smartphone applications, feature phones, and fixed-location panic buttons.
- Immediate SOS Button: Features an on-screen press-and-hold trigger with vibration feedback, a visual colour transition from green to red, and a 5-second cancellation countdown to prevent accidental activation.
- Remote SOS Triggering: The Atlas SOSi is a wireless keyfob accessory designed for lone workers requiring discreet emergency support. It pairs seamlessly with Android and iPhone smartphones, allowing users to trigger a remote emergency alert with a simple button press even when their phone is out of reach.
- Dedicated SOS Keys & Ripcords: Hardware units like the Atlas RG360, Atlas DM180, Atlas Ex760, Atlas Click2, and Atlas Protector+ feature large, tactile physical SOS buttons designed for easy press in high-stress scenarios. The Atlas Click2 also supports a physical ripcord pull-trigger.
How Emergency Alerts Work with Aspect Link
When an SOS is activated on any device, app or accessory, including a remote press via the Atlas SOSi keyfob—Aspect Link serves as the central intelligent processing engine.
Multi-Channel Alert Transmission
Aspect Link ingests emergency signals through multiple communication pathways, including SMS, voice calls, GPRS/3G/4G/5G, Wi-Fi, 2-way radio, contact switches, LAN/WAN IP, and email. If mobile data or Wi-Fi fails, systems automatically fall back to SMS messaging to ensure the alert reaches the platform.
Intelligent Dispatch & Critical Messaging
Aspect Link processes alerts within seconds and routes them based on custom predefined escalation rules:
- Atlas CM (Critical Messenger): On Android responder devices, the Atlas CM app overrides standard screen behaviours with high-priority visual, audible, and vibration alerts that persist until acknowledged. Responders see real-time updates and team actions in a shared interface.
- Interactive SMS Alerting: Responders without the app receive SMS notifications containing embedded links to live street maps or indoor site drawings. Responders can acknowledge, comment, or update incident status directly through these interactive web links.
- Web Dashboard: Monitoring operators view live device metrics, signal levels, battery status, and GPS/indoor mapping in real time.
