DRÄGER Gas Detector Integration
Real-Time Environmental Hazard Alerting
Isle Systems seamlessly integrates Dräger portable gas monitors with the Atlas SOS App, dedicated Atlas smart devices, and the Aspect Link monitoring platform. This integration turns portable gas detectors into connected safety endpoints, ensuring that hazardous gas exposures instantly trigger automated emergency workflows across your organisation.

How It Works

  • Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Pairing: Dräger portable gas detectors pair wirelessly via Bluetooth with the Atlas SOS App running on iOS/Android smartphones or rugged Atlas smart devices (such as the Atlas Ex760 or Atlas E220ex).

  • Continuous Hazard Monitoring & Threshold Detection: The connected Atlas device continuously receives real-time telemetry from the Dräger unit. When gas concentration thresholds (e.g., toxic gases, oxygen depletion, or flammable vapours) are exceeded or a detector alarm triggers, the Atlas software captures the event instantly.

  • Automated Platform Escalation (Aspect Link): Without requiring any manual intervention from the worker, the Atlas app/device automatically transmits a high-priority gas emergency alert to Aspect Link over cellular (2G/3G/4G/5G) or Wi-Fi networks.

  • Location-Enriched Response & Live Audio: The gas alert transmitted to Aspect Link is automatically enriched with the worker’s precise outdoor (GPS) or indoor (Aspect Beacon) location data. Aspect Link immediately opens a hands-free LinkStream Audio™ channel, allowing response teams, mobile and static, to assess environmental conditions and communicate with the worker in real time.
Key Capabilities & Benefits

  • Zero-Touch Emergency Dispatch: Gas threshold breaches automatically trigger emergency alerts, ensuring protection even if a worker is incapacitated by gas exposure.

  • High-Risk & Hazardous Zone Compliance: Combines Dräger's gas detection precision with ATEX-certified Atlas hardware (e.g., Atlas Ex760) for safe operation in explosive atmospheres.

  • Unified Responder Visibility: Aspect Link routes gas emergency notifications directly to responder devices via the Atlas CM app, interactive SMS with map links, or web browser dashboards.

  • Automated Physical Hazard Mitigation: Incoming gas alerts can be configured in Aspect Link to trigger external actions automatically, such as activating local warning lights/sirens, starting emergency ventilation fans, or opening access doors for evacuation.
