Safe@MyPC
How it works
Safe@MyPC provides SOS and timed alerting facilities directly from a networked PC.
Safe@MyPC automatically pops up on a user’s PC screen when a they are working outside normal working hours. Users are then periodically requested to confirm that they are ok. Failure to confirm their status will generate an alarm.
Product Options
Safe@MyPC can be added as a module to an existing PPS Lite or PPS Pro installation or be installed as an independent system.
Safe@MyPC client can be installed on multiple PC’s across a network. Installation and configuration of the Safe@MyPC client software is a simple process and takes less than 2 minutes to complete. This enables easy deployment of the system across even large networks without the need for in-depth training. All administration of the system is managed from a central location.
The Safe@MyPC client software runs in the background on a user’s PC. When running in the background, Safe@MyPC is accessed by clicking on an icon in the system tray (beside the clock). During the installation of the software or at any time after installation settings such as users name, location, normal working hours and days, etc.. are configured.
When Safe@MyPC detects that a user is still working outside normal working hours they are asked if they are working alone. Confirming a working alone status starts a timer running on their PC. At a defined number of minutes later the user is requested to confirm they are ok. Simply clicking the “Ok” button confirms their status.
Should a user forget to deactivate their Safe@MyPC timer and leave their PC running a reminder SMS text message can be sent to their mobile phone. Using this text message a user can deactivate the timer from a remote location.

Installations of Safe@MyPC on PPS Lite or PPS Pro systems include the same number of Safe@MyPC PC clients as specified for above. Responders licenses are based on the number of licenses active on the PPS system.
