Protection for lone workers in environments where injury or illness could be life threatening has until now been very difficult to implement. “Man Down” type devices were based on short range wireless technology which require fixed receiving base stations. These type of installations limit the practical use of “Man Down” devices for many organisations.
The GEOVAssist is unique. It utilises GSM mobile phone technology to communicate alerts in seconds to co-workers, security personnel, family, etc..
If a GEOVAssist user collapses the device will detect the angle of the person and automatically activate an alert. The unit can also be manually activated by pressing and holding an easily accessed button on the device.

GEOVAssist will open a voice call and send a text message when activated. Voice calls and text messages can be recorded and relayed using the PPS.
Orientation or one button activation will generate multiple escalation actions (i.e. voice call, SMS alert and GPS coordinates)
