Protection for lone workers in EX rated environments where injury or illness could be life threatening has until now been very difficult to implement. “Man Down” type devices were based on short range wireless technology which require fixed receiving base stations. These type of installations limit the practical use of “Man Down” devices for many organisations.
The EX GSMs is unique. It utilises GSM mobile phone technology to communicate alerts in seconds to co-workers, security personnel, etc..
If a EX GSMs user collapses the device will detect the angle of the person and automatically activate an alert. The unit can also be manually activated by pressing and holding an easily accessed button on the device.

Ergonomic design with integral belt clip insures the EX GSMs is always orientated correctly and within easy reach.
Automatic activation if the user collapses and is not moving for 45 seconds.(Programmable)
Manually activate the device by pressing an alert button on the side of the unit.
Single activation can alert multiple people simultaneously using the PPS
Opens a voice call to the PPS which is recorded and relayed to PC users and/or Mobile Phones..
Voice calls and text messages are be recorded and relayed using the PPS.
Orientation or one button activation will generate multiple escalation actions (i.e. voice call, SMS alert )
Each EX GSMs device can be personalised for unique identification
